Since 1984, the Collector’s Edge has operated numerous large-scale and small-scale mining projects, has purchased many significant private mineral collections, and has developed mine-direct sources for mineral specimens all around the globe.
The superb quality, diversity, and size of our mineral specimen inventory attract a wide range of customers. Our valued customers include beginning mineral collectors to the most advanced connoisseurs, museum curators, and other mineral dealers.
Our mineral showrooms in Golden, Colorado are open to customers by appointment. The showrooms contain ever-changing displays of fine mineral specimens from our worldwide sources. On a visit to the Collector’s Edge, collectors can tour the world’s most advanced mineral cleaning and preparation laboratory. Our laboratory staff of 3 full-time employees applies state-of-the-art specimen preparation techniques, developed at the CEMI lab, to bring out the full beauty of the mineral treasures we have discovered.
