The 2007 Denver show is fast approaching, the truck is packed and enroute to Denver filled to the brim with minerals! We are excited to announce that this show will be the first public viewing of a selection of specimens from the renowned Philadelphia Academy of Natural Sciences Collection. We also have several new collections of exceptional quality that we will be debuting!

Kristalle and Crystal Classics will be exhibiting at our two usual shows:
1) The Colorado Mineral and Fossil Show at the Holiday Inn - Denver Central, and the neighbouring Best Western, runs Wednesday 12th to Sunday 16th.
We have one room at the Holiday Inn – Room 109
and will have both showcases and tables of minerals. There will be many keystone (half price) minerals also shown in this room.
2) The Denver Gem and Mineral Society show in the nearby Merchandise Mart, held Friday 14th to Sunday 16th.
We will be located in booth J30, 32, 34.
This will be the main show for us in terms of the minerals we will have on display.

The release of minerals from the Philadelphia Academy of Natural Sciences Collection has been long anticipated. It was a mammoth task to prepare the minerals for showing, and as a result we will only have a portion of the minerals on show. The next release of specimens at the Munich mineral show 2007.
Mineral specimens from Philadelphia Academy of Natural Sciences Collection will released only at The Denver Gem and Mineral Society show in Merchandise Mart on Friday 14th at 9am by both ourselves and Collector’s Edge (located in the booth next to us). There will be no pre-show sales of the Philly material!!
Public sales of the Academy pieces have been held back by ourselves and Collector’s Edge until now in order to offer suites to Museums and Institutions first, and we are pleased to say that 8000 specimens have already gone to appropriate regional Museums.

Stunning Azurite from Tsumeb, Namibia
So which specimens will be at the show?
Kristalle and Crystal Classics will be showing the Californian suite, plus other specimens from around the world – we will bring what we can to Denver!!
We will be holding back the German suite and several European suites until the Munich show, 2nd-4th November 2007. The English suite will be sold via the internet so that those who are unable to visit shows may also see the specimens, we hope to have the first instalment in the next month or so.
Collector’s Edge will be showing specimens from the USA (minus California), Canada and South America.

Cobaltoan Calcite with Malachite from Katanga, Congo
The Academy specimens will only be a portion of the minerals we have on display. Since the St Marie show Ian and Wayne have been busy buying several exceptionally high quality collections in Europe, include the Henkel Collection and the Gubelin Collection. We have also purchased in conjunction with Collector’s Edge the Steve Neely Collection, which consists of some of the best specimens we have seen.
So be sure to come and visit us at the Holiday Inn and the Merchandise Mart, we have such a huge selection of minerals available high quality, aesthetic, something sure to suit every collection. And our booth is sure to be once again beautifully decorated by Dona with the ambience of music and lilies, creating the perfect environment to view minerals away from the hustle of the show outside.
We will see you there!
