A very attractive specimen featuring several bright pink Rhodochrosite rhombohedrons perched on a backdrop of pale pink Rhodochrosite, white Quartz and silvery Tennantite-rich matrix. The Rhodochrosite rhombohedrons are translucent and very lustrous, sharply formed and measuring to 14mm along one edge. The paler pink Rhodochrosite is an earlier generation, and is more massive and opaque, with a partial overgrowth of clear shiny Calcite, and radiating clusters of tiny needle-like Quartz crystals. An old classics from the 1970s, displays well.
