A well formed cluster of scalenohedral Amber Calcite has formed a domed cast over a now absent clay and Calcite matrix. These sharply formed crystals, light honey yellow in colour, rise to a height of 20mm. A beautiful example from a recent 2007 find in Norway, of only two pockets of Amber Calcite, these distinctive specimens exhibit pretty lustre, colour and aesthetic form.
