A cute miniature from the 2007 Amber Calcite find in Norway. Translucent amber coloured Calcite crystals grow from a massive Calcite and grey clay matrix. Beautiful vertical crystals to 30mm in height are surrounded by smaller diverging crystals, including a radiating cluster with a single crystal of 25mm grown in a diagonal direction. The Calcite are of very complex scalenohedral crystal form, with finely detailed crystal faces, and a lovely satin lustre. Simply beautiful, especially when backlit! $750
