Tounfit, Boumia, Khénifra Province, Morocco

A pretty group of cubic Fluorite crystals with a understated waxy luster, transparent with pale purple centers becoming darker purple with phantom growth bands toward the edges. Several faces are pitted with tiny triangular or diamond shaped pits adding a nice touch of detail. The Fluorite cubes have grown over a white Baryte (?) covered matrix, the white crystals clearly seen through the transparent Fluorites. A fine example of a Moroccan Fluorite.
