A sparkling specimen with fine blades of Azurite completely filling a cavernous matrix. The Azurite crystals are actually partly transparent turning electric blue with light through them, but the density of crystals, and their placement within a cavity without light behind them makes them appear dark dark blue. The blades are well defined, measuring to 1.5cm in length, with superb lustre. Small areas of damage around the edges, but most crystals are perfect - this is a very good Azurite from Morocco.$1800
