An attractive specimen from the classic Russian location. Sharp cubes of Fluorites are intergrown with dark lustrous Sphalerite crystals. The Fluorites are colourless, translucent to water clear, with excellent lustre and mirror like internal cleavages, and measure up to 3cm in width. The Sphalerite crystals range from sharp and well formed, to more massive where intergrown between Fluorite cubes. They have mirror-bright metallic lustre, often with stepped or triangular growth patterns. Where the Sphalerites crystals are well formed, there is a void up to 1cm wide around it where Fluorite has not grown. An interesting and asethetic combination specimen!
