Herodsfoot Mine, Lanreath, Cornwall, England

40mm x 43mm x 30mm
An exceptional specimen from a classic English locality for Bournonite specimens. The Bournonite has a very bright metallic lustre, and exhibits the typical 'cog-wheel' crystal form. The 'cogs' measure to 4cm in diameter and to 1cm thick. Tiny sugary Quartz crystals have preferentially grown on one side of the cogs. Superb miniature.
