40mm x 35mm x 20mm
A beautifully balanced specimen from an Eastern Europe locality renowned for producing fine specimens. The matrix consists of saddle-shaped Siderite crystals with a later generation of a brown unidentified species on the crystal edges. This two tone brown is offset by the coal black trigonal Cronstedtite crystals (to 3mm) stacked upon each other in layers that form a lustrous noose around the upper part of the specimen. Excellent representation of the species, acquired from the collection of the Academy of Natural Sciences, Philadelphia.$4500
