Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Otjikoto Region, Namibia

A single large doubly terminated translucent to opaque Anglesite crystal intergrown with several smaller crystals, some of which are in aligned orientation. The large crystal measures 52mm between terminations, and is predominantly pale at the base becoming dark grey at the flat top termination. A smaller aligned crystal shares the colour change and has a parallel flat top termination. The crystals have excellent lustre. At the base of the specimen is the remanants of a Anglesite rich gossan matrix, intergrown with the Anglesite crystals.
