A lustrous mid-blue Sapphire, jagged elongate hexagonal crystal with double tapered terminations, a common shape for crystals from this area. The crystal is mostly tranparent, with several inclusions, and is striated perpendicular to the length of the crystal. The crystal faces are all well crystallised and sharply formed. Trivial chip to one end, but the sub-vitreous lustre and blue colour create an attractive specimen.$750
