Chatoyant grass green Smithsonite encrusts a Cerussite rich matrix. The Smithsonite is Cuprian rich, a rarer composition for Broken Hill. It forms translucent globular aggregates to 25mm width, to smaller elongate wheat-sheaf aggregates which measure to 9mm in length. The Smithsonite has a satin lustre exhibiting a lovely chatoyancy.$750
